Randy Sparks
Randy Sparks founded and incorporated Team IP in
the spring of 1992 and currently is the CEO. He
has lived in the Port St Lucie over 23 years and is
located in the Corporate office. Randy works ‘on the
business' and travels extensively to recruit, support,
and secure new relationships for the Team IP properties.
Prior to assuming the CEO position for Team IP, Randy sold
in the school and corporate markets for over a decade. After
many years in sales, the desire to expand the base of business
was realized in pursuing exclusive souvenir merchandising
rights for governing organizations. In 1995, Team IP was
awarded its first two contracts in event marketing. The
Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and the
National Softball Association (NSA) helped Team IP set the
course to realize then what has a decade later allowed Team
IP to be the national leader in amateur national championships.
Randy was born and raised in Connersville, Indiana.
In addition to Team IP, Randy has been involved with
sports most all of his life. Being born a ‘Hoosier'
allowed basketball to become a kindergarten to graduation
experience that shaped the leadership and team concepts
used today. Randy was awarded the 2003 Business Man
of the Year Award that was accepted in Washington,
DC and announced in the Wall Street Journal. Randy
is married to his high school sweetheart of over twenty
years, Carla and has two children, Justin and Jessica.
When not working, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and
escaping to the movies.
